Welcome brothers & sisters to 2008 - another year for this company
and more releases on the way, both new vinyl and new CD releases
coming up soon.
We have a new piece of vinyl due next month entitled "Wicked Roots"
and a limited edition CD of the same title. The release will be a
kind of sampler of our roots catalogue with some material released
on it that up until now has only been available on out of stock 7"
vinyl. We already have pre-orders for this, so we expect it to move
quite well. You'll find names like Earl 16, Devon Russell,
Cornerstone, Glen Brown and Dennis Alcapone in this release.
The 10" will go out in a black sleeve with limited postcard insert.
The CD will of course be a fully printed set with some cheeky cover
art featuring Kendrick Andy - wait 'til you check the photo out LOL!
Other news - Martin Campbell is currently basking in the sunshine of
Jamaica, but we hope to get a new 10" out very soon from the man's
own Log On label. More news to follow on this one. This should be
available sometime in February or early March, all being well.
We have word that Gadd59 & Alien Dread have hooked up for a project
with Ras Nyto. Sounds interesting. We have heard some of Alien
Dread's new rhythm work and we have to say, totally solid.
